The control of nuclear weapons

This report focuses on nuclear weapons and the disarmament efforts that took place after World War II. America and the Soviet Union and later Britain combined forces to create a Treaty to be signed by all countries. However numerous countries refused to sign the Treaty and South Africa was one of them. And again other countries who had the means to develop nuclear weapons signed the treaty without hesitation. The conclusion then is the fact that the issue of spreading nuclear weapons is much more complicated than any other that used to be batted around the Arms Control negotiations during the Cold war.
