Israel’s Relations with South Africa: 1948-1973

“Since the early 1970s the Israeli-South African connection has become a focus of international attention and criticism. This article tries from an Israeli viewpoint, briefly to trace the Israeli-South African connection from the late 1940s until the early 1970s, and by so doing seek to clarify those factors which, on the one hand accelerated, and on the other hand retarded, the development of this relationship.”
