“The workshop was one of many initiatives for the AU to consult with a wide range of
stakeholders – including RECs/RMs, civil society and training institutions – on the
mediation and PCRD pools of the PSD Civilian Standby Roster, specifically examining how they will function and work in collaboration with the ASF pool of the PSD Civilian
Standby Roster. This workshop examined the technical aspects of the mediation and
PCRD pools and the staffing, recruitment, deployment and training requirements for it to function fully.”
