Climate and Development Outlook: Stories of Change from CDKN Issue No 1

That’s why climate compatible development features high on the political agenda. “Promoting African climate models” covers the threat from climate change to the African continent and the impact this will have on African Countries. CDKN’s support in helping African countries to share lessons on disaster risk reduction is highlighted in “Sharing lessons in disaster risk reduction”. “CDKN supports Kenya’s integrated climate planning” indicates Kenya’s approach to climate planning that crosses economic sectors and involves diverse stakeholder groups. “Building climate resilience into India’s housing construction” describes the project that is funded by CDKN on guidelines for low-carbon and disaster resilient construction in disaster-prone areas.
