Joel Onyango

As Research Fellow he is responsible for developing research concepts within Water, Biodiversity and Natural Resources Management Programme, Climate Change and the centre’s STPI. He represents ACTS in the Kenya “Water Dialogue” forum, the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP), among other collaborative initiatives. He is part of the secretariat for The African Network for the Economics of Learning, Innovation, and Competence Building Systems (AfricaLics).

He has worked as a project assistant in Ecology of Livelihoods for the Nyando Wetlands (ECOLIVE) project, based in Victoria Institute for Research on Environment and Development (VIRED) International; and also as a lecturer in the Biological Sciences Department at Egerton University.
