The final results were based on postal returns from all 120 constituencies. Masterson also examines the serious questions raised regarding the role and legitimacy of election observation missions. Bertha Chiroro revisits the political context in which the elections were held, the last minute electoral reforms, and the implications of the Zimbabwe crisis on the issue of elections and democracy.
