Kari Mugo

Kari Mugo is a Kenyan creative writer and activist who spent her formative years in Minnesota where she often dreamed of warmer weather. Her creative non-fiction covers issues surrounding identity, intersectionality, travel and the arts. She also enjoys investigative journalism and serves as a regular contributor to online outlets where she covers entertainment, culture, global mobility, politics and travel. Her work has appeared on radio, podcasts and on-stage where she discusses feminism, immigration, and queer identity.
