He was an Honorary Research Fellow at the University’s European Centre for Survey Research and had also served on the Steering of the University’s Centre for Sustainable International Development.
His research interests include development and development cooperation, particularly South-South and EU-African relations. He has researched issues of regionalism and regional integration especially as on-going under the aegis of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). He is also interested in the general issues areas of governing of resources in Africa as well as emerging global challenges and their implication for the continent including issues of food and energy insecurity, environment and global institutions.
