Gashaw Ayele

I have proven track-record working for local and international institutions at various capacities. I am proactive in learning and developing skills in multidisciplinary setting. I have had accumulated experience in Project formulations and implementations. I also exercised leadership at different levels, including department head at an academic institution. Currently, I am a ‘Research Fellow’ at a regional (Horn of Africa) independent think-tank. My academic background is in Economics (BA), and International & Development Economics (MSc). I am good at working with several statistical software and programming languages (such as Java, C++, Matlab, EViews, STATA, SPSS, and Microfit). I have Hands-on experience and deep interest in problem solving researches. I am Certified trainer of Microfinance: Jointly Certified by the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank’s Tokyo Development Learning Centre, and the Development Bank of China Tokyo.
