Efem N. Ubi

Dr. Ubi has published quite a number of articles and book chapters on China and Asia, Development Studies, Interstate/Intrastate Conflicts, Territorial and Boundary Conflicts, Globalization, Nuclear Technology/Politics. His book “The Management of African Boundary Dispute: A Case Study of Ethiopia-Eritrea Boundary Conflict” was published in 2010.

At present he is the Head of the Division of International Economic Relations. In addition to that, he holds Certificates in Conflict Analysis and Interfaith Conflict Resolution all from the United States Institute of Peace (USIP). He is the Assistant Editor, Nigerian Journal of International Affairs (NJIA), Assistant Editor, Journal of Alternative Development Studies, Elibrada Center for Alternative Security Studies and Consulting Partner with Cardston Consulting, Edmonton, Canada.

Dr. Ubi is also an authorized and commissioned Ambassador of Goodwill from the State of Arkansas (USA), an alumnus of United States International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) (State Alumni); Member, Sub-Saharan Studies Association (SSA), Member, Peace and Collaborative Network, Member, Nigeria Society for International Affairs (NSIA), Member, African Borderlands Research Network (ABORNE) and Member, Nigerian Society for International Law (NSIL).
