Dr. Rasheed Draman has been actively engaged in Public Financial Management and Governance issues for the past eight years. Since joining the Parliamentary Centre, Dr. Draman has carried out pioneering work with several Parliaments and MPs from around the world.  He set up the Parliamentary Centre’s first field office in Accra; set up the African  Parliamentary Network on Poverty Reduction; conducted needs assessments/appraisals of a number of Parliaments in Africa; designed and delivered training to MPs and staff in the budget process; designed and delivered a number of training seminars for MPs on financial oversight and poverty reduction. Additionally, Dr. Draman holds a B.A and a Dip.Ed from Cape Coast University in Ghana and an MA from the International University of Japan.
