Dr. Alex C. Ezeh is the Executive Director of the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC). He joined APHRC in 1998 (then a program of the Population Council in Nairobi) as a Senior Research Fellow. He was appointed APHRC’s Executive Director in 2001, and has steered the young institution to phenomenal growth to date. He directs the Consortium for Advanced Research and Training in Africa (CARTA) and holds honorary professorship at Wits University. He serves on the boards and committees of several international public health organizations.
